Working in the Cantonese culinary industry for over 17 years, Tam Wing-yee is now an Assistant Head Chef. After completing her studies abroad, she returned to Hong Kong and applied for admission to the Chinese Culinary Institute. After four attempts, she finally got an admission offer. When she set foot in the industry, she was confronted by physically demanding actions such as holding the chopper and tossing the wok. However, with her unwillingness to give up and passion for culinary arts, she began working in junior positions and kept practising, overcoming one challenge after another. Also, she participates actively in cookery shows and competitions to gain extensive experience, achieving excellence eventually.
