Lee Tsz-kwan has been a Service Technician in the Elevator Maintenance Department for 8 years. Underperforming academically in secondary education, she joined the workforce working as a hairdressing apprentice followed by a restaurant waitress after completion of Secondary 5. Later, in search of a more stable career development path, she decided to enrol for the VTC Apprenticeship Scheme. In the 4 years of training, she learnt the professional skills from veterans of the lift and elevator industry. Upon successful completion of training, she obtained the qualification as a registered lift worker and officially became a technician. Aspiring to be a lift engineer, she plans to continue her studies in the near future.
