Yan Wong has been a Cantonese dubbing artist for 12 years. She has always been passionate about dubbing. While she was in university, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) happened to offer professional dubbing training. At that time, she expressed her desire to enrol at the training to her family but met with their opposition because she had not completed her studies. It was not until after she graduated that TVB recruited trainees again. She immediately submitted her application and officially began her career as a Cantonese dubbing artist. In 2015, following the passing of Mr. Lam Po-chuen, the original voice actor behind “Doraemon”, she took over the role. Facing both pressure and support, she has embraced the challenge and contributed to a new generation of “Doraemon”.
