Being a seafarer for more than ten years, Ms Joanna KWOK has acquired the qualification of Chief Engineer of Seagoing Vessels. Chief Engineer who is second only to the Captain, is responsible for the maintenance of machinery on board and fuel supply of the ship. She suggested young people should understand the nature of their work before embarking on a new career, prepare for the challenges in their future career and improve their communication skills. Convenor of the Maritime Professional Promotion Federation, Captain Marso LAW advised young people to consider whether the job nature suits their interests while choosing their career.
