2026 GBA Work Experience Attachment Programme
2026 GBA Work Experience Attachment Programme (WEP) offers workplace attachment in Greater Bay Area (GBA) Mainland cities for young people, enabling participants to gain experience on the work environment and living culture in the area. Free accommodation and workplace attachment allowance will be provided, weekend activities will be arranged. Details of WEP are as follows:
Application period: 24 August (Mon) to 9 October (Fri), 2026
Content of WEP: preparatory training, 1-month workplace attachment in the GBA, weekend activities, immediate support services available during the course of workplace attachment in the GBA, mainland career advisory services
Fees: free of charge, free accommodation will be provided to participants during the course of the workplace attachment in the GBA
Recruitment day:
- 29 September 2026 (Tuesday) 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Hong Kong Employment Development Service, G/F, Lung Shing House, Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate, Kowloon (MTR Wong Tai Sin Station Exit C2)
- Participating host organisations and details of attachment vacancies will be uploaded to YETP website in due course

Remarks:
1. If the Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or “extreme conditions” is issued / announced to be issued within 3 hours before the start of the recruitment event, or any of the above signal/warning is still in force during the said period, the recruitment event will be cancelled. Please check the related announcements in YETP website for updates.
2. Under normal circumstances, those who had participated in the GBA Work Experience Attachment Programme in 2025 will not be eligible to apply this year. The YETP Programme Office reserves the rights of final decision.
3. Those who have previously worked for the Host Organisation(s) or their related companies under any forms of employment or services are not eligible for the posts offered under the above recruitment day.
